IN SAVONLINNA
The masterclass is arranged in collaboration with Belcanto Academy, Trento.
Each student will get 2×45 min vocal technique teaching and 2×45 min musical coaching, and participate in recitativo and ensemble sessions of 2×3 hours. Students will also have the chance to perform in the final concert on the last day of the masterclass.
The masterclass focuses on the three Mozart – da Ponte operas;
Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte.
Savonlinna International Music Academy will organize an extensive masterclass-production on the same three operas in July 2026, culminating in performances in the Savonlinna Hall and in Mikkeli together with the Mikkeli Orchestra.
The students who are chosen for the February masterclass in Savonlinna will have the possibility to audition for the July masterclass-production before the application deadline, this will be informed in detail later.
The application period: 3.12.2025-1.2.2026. The choices will be announced by 6.2.2026.
